Good news for Adobe creators
Feb 19, 2024We love a good integration that makes life easier, and it looks like TikTok and Adobe have teamed up for a solid one. If you use the AI-powered Creative Assistant, the tool is now available directly in Adobe Express. So if you’re an Adobe-using creator, this is great news. (No one likes working across multiple platforms.) Creators will get access to TikTok insights about what’s trending, plus Adobe Stock video clips, audio, and more, directly within Adobe Express. You’ll also be able to publish/schedule content right from the platform.
What does this mean for you? Well, this means less time and energy trying to work in two different programs. But on a larger scale, this shows us something else: even social media platforms themselves and editing suites are leveraging the power of AI. You should be too.
🎥 What's Trending
With a whopping 105 million views, this video shows us the power of behind-the-scenes content. Not only do people love to watch something that clearly requires a lot of skill (like viral trick shot videos), but people want to actually understand what it took to make it happen.
Admit it: if you’ve ever played around with a ping pong ball trying to toss it into a cup, you’ve thought about what kind of shots you could make. You know the level of difficulty. Similarly, you know the size of a charging port on a phone. This creator takes these objects and anchors our attention onto something that we’re already familiar with — so they can show us the stakes of these trick shots immediately.
Meanwhile, the compilation keeps us watching because we assume each one is going to get harder. And we love to see what it took (and how long it took) for these creators to figure out how to do something.
Your takeaway: Try to make a compilation video of your own. What situations can you line up together that people are familiar with? (For example, a realtor could do a “what the house was listed as” vs “what it sold for” series. Or an entrepreneur could compile how much money you made off each product — and how long it took to make that.) The more you can peel back that curtain and show people “what it took” to get (insert awesome results) … the more they’ll stay glued to the screen.
