Wanna Get Verified on TikTok?
Nov 22, 2022✔️ Let's Get Verified
Up until recently, TikTok was one of the few remaining platforms that wouldn’t allow commoners to submit for verification. (You either had to work with an agency with a hookup, or be a Duke or something. We’re note quite sure.) But now, in the spirit of giving, TikTok has opened the floodgates for anyone with an account to submit.

Verification here I come! While this does remove some barriers for individuals to get verified, this also means that their request pipeline is about to get flooded. Be prepared for long wait times on your verification verdict, and for little-to-no information if you’re denied.
We do know from our independent research (and discussions through the grapevine), being verified on other platforms can be helpful. Be sure to submit all relevant information that would help them consider you to be ‘culturally relevant’. Probably goes without saying, but if someone tries to verify a profile that’s impersonating someone else, they can face major repercussions. Just FYI.

Who doesn’t love a little wholesome fun? Answer: not many. Over 128 million people have watched this harmless yet hysterical prank of a woman walking into a wall of plastic wrap.
Why this works: It’s a little hard to see the plastic wrap, so even the viewer gets a pattern interrupt surprise when she doesn’t make it through the doorway. The after effects of her eyelashes and lipstick getting stuck make it even more satisfying. When making content, ask yourself: how can I surprise the viewer?
Something tells us this will be a popular prank being played across the US over Thanksgiving, so be extra cautious heading to the dinner table this Thursday.
